Meet Convict Career Coach JeTaun Newcomb

JeTaun Newcomb is President/Owner of Newcomb Career Consulting 101+ (NCC101+), a coaching and consulting company dedicated to helping individuals with criminal backgrounds and the C³(Convicted, Condemned, and Confused) individuals realize their career goals and accomplish them. NCC101+ also specializes in helping organizations reach placement goals through strategic career development and consulting workshops.

What differentiates JeTaun from others in her field is not just her ability to motivate others, but the educational and career-transition experiences that she has endured. She personally understands the effort and commitment involved in getting focused and staying “Positive” to succeed (from corporate to non-profit to self employment-coaching). She can empathize with career struggles of individuals with no education to those with a PhD. Branded the “Convict Career Coach” she enjoys working with individuals with criminal backgrounds.

With a strong knowledge of the employment industry and best practices, JeTaun has more than 10 years of progressively responsible experience as a branch manager in staffing, recruiting, retention, training, career development and barrier assessments. JeTaun has implemented Employee of the Month Programs which involved collaboration with the local television station. Her ability to partner with companies and non-profit organizations has allowed her to become an affective philanthropist for employment opportunities. She also has a niche for exploring career avenues otherwise not contemplated by employment seekers.

JeTaun is a Certified Career Development Facilitator by the state of Tennessee . A Certified Competent Communicator by the South Cobb Toastmasters of Austell, GA; which has greatly enhanced her natural ability to speak to audiences of all type of demographics on many subjects from careers and parenting to customer service.

When not working on her goal of helping 365+ people on a yearly basis fulfill their ambitions, JeTaun spends time with her two sons Darius and Damiun. You can usually find them at a sporting event or roller skating.
